About EdRebound®

     Ronshea “Shea” Edwards is an educator, inspirational speaker, and education solutions leader with more than 30 years of experience serving students, families, and schools across diverse learning environments. She is the Founder of Education Rebound® LLC (EdRebound®), an organization dedicated to strengthening student success through social-emotional learning (SEL), academic support, and educational program implementation.

     EdRebound® was launched in 2018 as a mentorship and student development initiative focused on supporting underserved communities through SEL-integrated learning and academic empowerment. Edwards’ work is grounded in her experience as a teacher, principal, and instructional leader in high-need educational settings, where she identified the powerful connection between student self-worth, learning readiness, and academic achievement.

While teaching in an alternative school setting, she developed her character-based SEL approach, ValueBoard®, which helps students identify motivators, strengthen self-perception, and redefine personal values. This work contributed to more than 65% of participating middle and high school students successfully passing the Florida State Assessment.

     Edwards is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree with a specialization in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) implementation and innovative education program implementation, with an anticipated graduation of May 2027. Her research focuses on effective SEL frameworks, learning environment design, and structured implementation models, including the development and application of the CALM™ Learning Environment Temperaments Framework, a proprietary system designed to strengthen classroom culture, student engagement, and learning readiness.

     Her leadership has expanded EdRebound® through multiple partnerships and initiatives, including:

• Multi-year SEL contract with Hillsborough County Public Schools and Project Promise
   
• SEL services within Florida Juvenile Detention Centers and community-based learning organizations
   
• Partnership with Premier Professional Development & Training LLC to support teacher retention and reduce burnout
   
• Youth entrepreneurship programming through community partnerships
   

    Through her work and partnerships with community leaders and education thought leaders, Edwards continues to advance education solutions that integrate SEL, structured learning environments, and academic support to improve student outcomes and strengthen learning communities.

Our Coaches consists of experienced educators, retired military, police officers and professionals who are passionate about their fields and committed to providing the best possible education to our students. We carefully select our faculty members based on their expertise, teaching experience, and dedication to their craft. Our Rebound Coaches are not only experts in their fields but also caring mentors who provide personalized guidance to our students.
